Default TDA 1524 tone control

Hi Guys,
I tried building TDA 1524 tone control, twice but failed. quality not good, I changed ICs, even capacitors and resistors, checked PCB tracks, everything.

can someone throw some light on what might be wrong? does anyone have a successful PCB for this?

Two likely problems:
1. the circuit was wrong
2. the circuit is fine, but you didn't build the circuit but instead you built a different circuit - then in checking this circuit you carefully applied the same misunderstanding which led you to build it (e.g. chip pins).

My crystal ball is away for repair, so that is about as far as I can go with the information you have given us so far.
