Default mic mixer with echo/delay feature connection

hi. long story short, i had modified and converted the passive tone control my existing sound system into an active one. then feed into volume control and then out for amplifier. my question is how to properly its internal mic mixer properly? the opamp in this section used to be an inverting amplifier wherein the output of passive tone control was feed and the mic is mixed using a 47k resistors for left-right channel. now im thinking the right way to connect the mixer is after volume control on its center leg so mic volume will be separate from main volume. but can i just connect directly using resistors (like the existing 47K) for left-right channel or do i need to build a summing amplifier.
