work good , sound good . If I had a scope I could verify that .
I think 3K9 on feedback is to low for TL072. TL072 have low current output capability. You must trade-off the distortion and S/N ratio.
Usually I will choose NE5532 over TL072 because of current output capability.
I put a IC Socket so i can try another chips
in the mean time i am using the ne5532 that sound pretty good
Most recorded music which has gone through an analog mixing console was probably processed by lots of 5532s anyway...
So...this is how it looks
That layout is not good at all, it won't give anywhere near optimal performance. Specifically the distance between the chip and the supporting components and the large loop areas, see my post #39.
