Folks:
Has anyone compared the sonic virtues of the various remote-controlled source selection and attenuation systems with LCD displays that are currently available? I've built several Dantimax systems and have liked them, but these days there are a lot of interesting-looking alternatives (AMB's LCDuino system, stuff from diyclub, loads of junk on ebay, etc.). I'm interested in the best sounding options. Price does matter, but I'd rather spend the extra money if it makes sense than foolishly compromise on sound quality.
