The output of my DAC has a left and right balanced output. I'd like to create 1 or 2 summed (L+R) mono outputs for use with subwoofers without degrading the signals.
Ideally I'll add this into my DAC chassis and add two additional mono XLR outputs for subwoofers. The low-pass filtering is done at the subs.
I'm currently planning on using the schematic in figure 3 from Rane: http://www.rane.com/note109.html
Is this the very best way to accomplish this?
