Default 6dB Active crossover

I am assembling a pair of Dynaudio FOCCUS. The dynaudio recommended slope is 6dB. I was hoping to use active crossovers because I have a pair of amps that I can install in the speaker. I have at my disposal a decent Phoenix gold car crossover and I have seen crossover PCB/ kits on ebay. Most of what I see is 18dB or 24dB. Can I modify them? What effect can I expect by changing the slope or not changing the slope. My drivers are Dynaudio 17W75 and Dynaudio D28/2.

Passive line level 6dB slopes are easy if you know what you are doing,
you don't need an active x/o, and can use nearly all power amplifiers.

Search on PLLXO's.

rgds, sreten.

Doodle is easy. No active components - 3 small passives/channel. So cheap and clean. Ideally you have gain control on at least 1 of the amps.
