How many boards for a three way 4th order crossover?

Hi,

at minimum 8 Buffers per audio-/stereo-channel. 2 for the Tweeter-HP, 2 for the Mid-HP, 2 for Mid-LP and 2 for woofer-LP.
Since tweeter, Mid and woofer channels are connected in parallel, add 1 Buffer as Input-Buffer/Isolator.
Then add maybe 2 or 3 more as output buffers if potis are wished for to individually set each channels volume level.
If aditional equalizing/filtering is needed add some more.

I think pots would be essential. So that's 12 per balanced channel, thankyou.

Thanks for the clarification that's were my understanding got me to, I needed reassurance I was on the correct path.
