can a preamp be used directly for headphone?

i have a preamp as shown below

i would like to connect it to my Pioneer Headphone. Is it ok to directly connect the preamp to headphone? Will it harm my preamp or Headphone this way?

Need Advice and all advice and recommendation are very much appreciated

Unlikely to harm your headphones. Probably won't harm your preamp, although that would depend on the details of the output stage. Quite likely to give low volume, as a preamp is not designed to drive headphones.

Only way is to try it. It might be advisable to add a couple of resistors of say 15 to 220 ohm (one for each channel) in the feed to the phones to give better control of volume and to reduce noise. The value would be determined experimentally.

Why not hook them up to a low wattage speaker amp?
