I am new to the site and also DIY in general. I currently have an Ascend Acoustics Sierra-1 setup that is being powered by a Denon avr-3312. I have some questions that I was hoping you guys could help me with.
(keep in mind I am new to this so go easy)
1. Are there any mods that I can do to my Denon avr-3312 that would make a noticable improvement in the 2 channel performance? Power supply mods? Input/output stage mods? OP Amp change? DAC chip change?
2. If it is not possible to mod my Denon, what is a good pre-amp that I could purchase as a building platform and moddify it to have really good 2 channel sound quality?
