I'm building a small portable sound system with a woofer and two full range speakers. I have several small class-d two channel amps that I would like to experiment with. My goals for this system are as follows:
monoXover 2-way pre-amp audio crossover
This would allow me to use one channel for the woofer and the other channel for the two full range speakers.
However I understand there are some drawbacks to using filtering at the line level such as insertion loss. Is this a horrible idea? Can anyone suggest something else to achieve my goals?
Any input on this setup would be much appreciated. Thanks!
