Home Theater bypass for a tube pre amp - Help!!!
I recently purchased a tube pre amp and would like to install a HT bypass. I got the Elma selector switch and would like to use the existing pre amp output.
How would I go about wiring in the bypass without interfering with the pre amp circuit. I tried just straight wiring but there seems to be interference with the circuit - feedback. Any ideas, guidance from knowledgeable diy'ers Thanks and cheers |
You need to make sure that if you are just connecting the input to the output with a bypass switch that you have the pre-amp powered OFF or you are creating a positive feedback loop.

Thanks for the info. Is there a other way to accomplish this without having to turn off the pre amp?
