ehh, the parametric would be a notch filter
on second thought, make it active xo, with 'reversed' graphic EQ, and optional parametric notch/peak filters the 'reverse' trick to use tweeter attenuation for the woofer low pass filters and using a bass attenuation with the high pass filters surely this must have been done before ? |

a flexible active xo, I guess there's a first time for everything
is it because those who design the electronics have very little knowledge about speakers and speaker designers, well..... but with new digital technology, maybe a bit late for this but i still intend to try a figure it out |

hang on
ehh, Elliot use half his 3way 24db LR filter for the 12db LR project maybe we could simple use the other half, so that each slope will have their own dedicated EQ I'm in over my head here |

Read the Linkwitz site for first hand information on the many EQs available for speaker crossovers and effects.

yeah, I know its well described by Linkwitz
and wont hurt to read it again, and again tho Im not very good at reading, and calculations even worse Im not very well educated Im looking at this schematic from ESP site, project 28 Parametric and Sub-Woofer Equaliser and his project 09, crossover Linkwitz-Riley Electronic Crossover the same board is used for the 12db LR filter they both look very similar to me |
