First effort: MM/MC phono preamp with DC servo
MM/MC preamp, op amp based, two gain stages (current feedback configured for 40db of gain), passive RIAA with Vishay poloypropylene caps, dc servo, no caps in the signal path, ground plane on bottom of pcb, Vishay/Panasonic resistors, Vishay caps, Nichicon KW electrolytics, used with a remote, mosfet based, shunt regulated PSU.
Versatile, compact, quiet, no RF issues (even in the ABS enclosure!), measures good, sounds great, still breaking in. PCB from ExpressPCB. I should edit to add: my first PCB layout effort. I've been building on perf/proto board forever. Finally got off my lazy can and figured out how to use some software. Very worth the effort!
