i recently built a Zenquito (Zenevo) based on Mr Plantefeve schematics. The only modification i have done is the use of two SMPS's in serial (two 300 W SMPS's decoupled by 4.7 µF capacitors). It sounds really great and is my first realisation.
I'd like to add a preamp to this power amp and my choice goes to a BOZ from Mr PASS. I already own some components (resistors, transformer, some capacitors, 50 K Alps pot) to start with but in reading many threads, i noticed that many people faced some troubles with the output potentometer.
As i own a 50K pot, what are the changes to add to the basic schematics to use it, if possible? As well, is it possible to use MUR 860 diodes for the power supply?
Finally, if you've got some tricks or improvement, i am interrested.
