I just had an Anthem D2v modified. The replaced the Op amps with OPA627 and the volume PGA2311 to PGA2310 running at 12 volts. I also added Bybee Quantum perifiers to the output of the regulated power supply. The top in is very detailed now. Acoustic guitar sounds very good with a lot of decay. Bass guitar very three dimensional, textured and tight. Male and female voices sound good. There are a few things that are bugging me and wondering if anyone has some ideas out there that I can change to improve the presentation.
Issues. 1. Depth of the soundstage seems to have been compressed. Before there seems to be more space between the singers and instruments playing on stage. 2. The music seems to be coming from the speakers in the upper midrange. Before the music was just there playing in space. If I'm a little to the right or left music falls to the right or left speaker when before I had to be quite a bit to the right or left before music collapsed to one side. 3. Width have been compressed a little but not as much as depth. 3. There is a little simbilance. |

Try removing the Bybee devices first.
