Diying Dispre and just wondering do I go for BC550C/BC560C or to stick to the original schematic BC546/BC547. Will 550 result in any kind on sound quality problem or DC offset.Schematic is this.http://web.telecom.cz/macura/schema.pdf

BC550/560 is a recommended substitute to 547/557. Buy reliable producer's product, like ON Semi. Avoid CDIL, some of their 560 transistors have reversed pins! Package must have pins as shown.

Yes, but now you have it completed - with DC servo drawing, BOM and assembly instructions. It may help to those who might be interested in building this preamp.

Sorry for annoying you, but for what is dc servo, I presume potential DC offset. How large is DC offset without DC servo, and for what should I watch on matching. I only see NPN, PNP at input and that is wary difficult to match, almost impossible

You should use it, especially if you have DC coupled power amplifier.
