Hi, I'd like to make this simple preamp for the guitar amp of a friend of mine.
I only have 250k pots for VR3A and VR4A at the moment. Do I need to scale the capacitors accordingly? http://sound.westhost.com/p02_fig2.gif

Download the "Tone Stack Calculator" and play with the "James" circuit.
The connection between L-Tape and pin 1 of U1A should not be there. Also rethink the need for R21/R22 and C4/R17/R24. E |

Thanks E,
I completely forgot about this awesome software. I ended up building a variation of the James circuit. Tonestack FTW. I'll report back once it works.
