I have just acquired a Linar model 2 preamplifier that is configured for 220V.
I can see that it is using a dual primary toroid, but I am not 100% certain about how to go about reconfiguring it for 120V. It looks like the primaries are wired in parallel. I have attached a couple of pics to illustrate my situation. The white and orange are connected to the hot and the black and brown are connected to the neutral. Any help is appreciated. I will call Linar as soon as I can to confirm, however it is my impatience that is creating this post.

Is this how you received it ?
It looks like it is already set for 110v as both primaries are paralleled. It's dangerous as it stands. The bare wires need insulating. Andy .

The bared wire is my doing, for the picture.
They were taped up. I will be replacing the tape with heat shrink. I think you are right about the conversion already being done. I have no way of contacting the previous owner to be sure. My understanding is that the primaries are paralleled for 110V and in series for 220V. I know I need to brush up on power supplies, I've been lazy.
