I seem to have run out of 47R resistors would there be a problem in using 49R9 instead?

It should work, but Salas can confirm that.

I've decided to give Shinkoh tantalums a try in the buffer stage so I've ordered some 47R resistors as well

Ive got my SK170 from Blues today. One pair with 8.79 & 8.80mA and one pair with 8.76 & 8.77mA.

With the latter in the inner position, i have two possibilities:
  1. 8.80 - 8.77 / 8.76 - 8.79
  2. 8.80 - 8.76 / 8.77 - 8.79

Witch one should i solder?

I would bet none of them. I would place each pair paired as you got them. But that's my POV.
