Salas, I want to buy some matched 2SK170's from Blues, but I'm not sure what to ask for. He's got some left in the 6, 7 and 8 mA ranges. Could you suggest the best choice?

I doubt it. Just don't use too thin wires and keep them away from the signal wiring.

This is exactly what I'm using and some people also ran a GB to use those in the DCB1. They're great.

With the big 10 Ohm resistors no. If you run it low current with the small 2x47r resistors, yes.
