I looked at its current rating in relation to 115VAC but I don't know its surge current at start up.

Sure thing is to measure I max with A meter in series and then fuse, but I am not recommending messing with the mains especially in A mode, don't do it, especially with non well protected DMMs which are the majority. If with no HRC fuses, flame containing etc. like Flukes are, they may blow in your face in case of a mistake. Better try a couple of fuses incrementally for your circuit that will contain the trafo's surge current.

Here is what I got for readings. Are these good? 10.09 both + -
across 10ohm resistors 1.640 & 1.721. I am not sure where to take the DC offset check.

Good readings, ~170mA PSU CCS average & perfect Voltage symmetry.
DC offset at pre out RCAs, meter at dcmV range.

Thanks Salas, I did measure there but not with the mv setting.

Readings are 1.4 and 1.6 mv

Thanks Salas and Tea Bag for another fun project. Can't wait to hook it up and take a listen.

Well , I just hooked it up. I will put a proper sized fuse in later. I didn't have any on hand 1A or under.

Just to make sure though, you say slow blo rather than fast?

Better slow to contain the surge without much over-specification.
