Now your build has the standard ~10.000uF total per side of high ripple current capacitors?
If yes they will hold their own to much more for spec. Subjectively big transformer and more capacitance some may like or not, but technically the now components are very capable.

Yes, it has 9400 uF per polarity.

-------------------------------------------------------

I measured THD+Noise of the DCB1 using audiodiffmaker. Here is how to do it with an ADC for recording:

Record Sample 1 direct from CD player.
Record Sample 2 from CD player via DCB1 at full volume.

Use audiodiffmaker to create a difference file, "Sample 1 - Sample 2".

Import the difference file into audacity and analyze spectrum.

The spectrum plot of the difference (THD and noise) was -84 dB or 0.0063% at full volume.

-----------------------------

I wonder if a larger power supply with greater voltage drop would have a measurable difference?

Just finished fine; sounds great!

Yes; solid state on the woofers and tubes on the horns. If you insist! :D

I made the stereo and LP cabinets, speaker stands and amp plinths out of walnut or (for the cabinets) walnut veneered plywood.

The preamp is now where the Adcom was in the top right.
