Hi everyone
Sorry for noobie question here…. I just finish up the build Hypnotize Black version But first three LEDS light up fine(both Channels) but second Five LEDS(both channels) not lit up and regulated voltage is +18.3V and 18.3V…(Im using Hammond 12-0-12 2AFor testing) seems like regulator does not work properly… using 10ohm resistors for current limiting… I checked LEDs polarity several times… and others like TR and resistors too… Relay works fine I checked each five LEDS banks and it lit up fine individually, but not lit up all five LEDS altogether. I really appreciate any help Thanks John |

In the 5 leds strings the cathodes (shorter legs, aligned with flat rim cut D on led bodies) must go to the round pads. Is it so?

Hi Mr. Salas,
Thank you for quick reply. Yes I checked several times already, for 5 banks of LEDS directional is OK. If I connect battery each LEDs, it works fine though. Should I change the TRs and FETs ??? Thank you |

Maybe you miss 1 Ohm resistors or simply jumper links where it has a resistor symbol with ''1'' in it?

Not yet I just confirmed regulator works! Voltages are within range and output DC offset looks good. will connect and listen it soon. Cant wait....
hopely +18, -18 did not damage anything..... Thanks |

If your relay clicks, regulator voltages are around 10V each and the DC offset on output is good, I don't see any grounds for it had suffered possible damage. Let us know how it went and post a picture also if possible when it will test alright.

Hi Salas, built my 1st DCB1(hotrod) and on one side the 5 led don't glow(and they are right position,no error)nothing hot or smoke and relay work. Start it with variac and stop at about 85AC on 120AC. What transistor is wrong ? Thank's

If you are sure everything is assembled in order, check the CCS Mosfet of the bad side first.
