Expander

One of my favorite pieces in my main system setup is a dbx 266XL Compressor/Gate. I use it exclusively as an expander when I'm listening to anything but most jazz & classical.

Now I'm working on an integrated headphone active pre-amp & amplifier. I've been thinking about trying to integrate an expander in with it all but haven't been able to find schematics. Any pointers?

Hi,
I know the:
(old) IC from "Linear LSI products" type NE570 (cfr cat page AN174 "Hi-Fi expandor)
Practical realisation cfr: Radio Plans Nr 457
No experience
or
RadioTron, with (plenty) practical tubes- schema ...cfr: chapter 16, page 679
No experience

It's amazing with this kind application (expandor): all music with vinyl - Cédé & Fm are more "vivifying" ....
One musical note:
Since '67 I had a nice application in my pré/line-amp from "André Dumortier" (Bi-Sforzando) ....
