Default Anyone running his ALeph P on battery power ?

Hi everybody,

after reading quite a bit about battery powered hi-fi devices (DIY and commercial offers) on this forum and elsewhere I realise there is quite a controversy on the subject.

For myself I ahd the opportunity to hear some gear lately and was quite surprised and would like to give it a try myself.

An Aleph P is probably not the best candidate due to the relative high operating voltage, but I thought I could use something like 10 x 12V/3-5Ah in series.

Any input ?

Cheers,

Max
