Am I missing something? Do I need an opamp? I just wired up an INA217 to a DRV134. Both seem to be working OK but I am not getting enough gain. I ran a synthesizer to pin 4 of DRV134 and got a differential output. I then ran the synthesizer into the + and - of the INA217 input and showed more gain but not enough to pick up microphone.

I found the problem. one of my caps was bad. At first try, this is a nice pair. I only used a dynamic mic because I don't have phantom yet. Just INA217 into a DRV134 and I have smoother sound than a preamp which cost $150.
