Hey gang, I don't know a whole heck of a lot about designing crossovers so thought I would ask a very elementary question.
Can I just use a 4 mh coil in line with the positive wire to have a 6 db slope Low Pass filter around 80 Hz on a 2 ohm load? Thanks guys! |

You will hav eissues with the roller coaster impedance of the woofer in this region. At these low frequencies better to go active even with just a PLLXO.
dave (Note: if you really intend a passive, speaker level XO then this thread should get moved to speakers)
