A treble boost line amp

I'm 53 and a few weeks ago I haved an hearing test at the hospital, I did know that I have earing lost at high frequencies but I was surprise to see that test graphic.

At 2k hz are 5db, 4k hz are 45db, 10k hz are 50db, of earing lost.

So I don't need a bass boost, but just a treble boost, it would be interesting for me to as a line amp before a amplifier.

I have done a schematic, any comments about it ?

I have no formal training as an audiologist, I've just worked in the industry a long time so use this as you see fit.

The hearing threshold test plots just that: your hearing threshold. This has very little to do with your hearing acuity at volume. I don't believe that hearing acuity is linear with volume or frequency.

My guess is that if you implement a corrective filter based on your hearing threshold it will sound very bad.

You must also consider psychoacoustic effects. Your brain has learned to hear through your ear filter over many many years.

From an engineering perspective, increasing gain to +50dB at 10KHz is a bad idea.

Can you tell me how you hear percussion? Can you hear cymbals? Can you hear the wind? I don't think the hearing test tells you how you hear.

Oh no... this line amp is not increasing gain to +50dB at 10KHz !

Only increasing to + 10 db at 10KHz at the maximum of the pot adjustment, theoricaly since I still need to build it.

Until few month ago I was using a Radford HD250 integrated amp, there is a tone control in that amp, I was needed to raise the treble to get high correctly.

Now a Aksa LF55 amp replaced the Radford and I use this power amp with a passive preamp.
