Danzup,
Since I have no idea on which of this controler to pick, which one do you recommend if I want the best of your design? My needs is the one that can be used with universal remote, display and four inputs? Since you have the r/2r kit, how much is the complete kit including shipping to U.S ? Where can I find the details of r/2r? Thanks, Joe |

Yet another Volume controlers and source selections ( price for : kit r/2r atmega16 / 4 input without transport to USA is 53 euro , please any other info in pm ) But if you do not like the fade and discrete mechanical sound of relay (this do not propagate to speakers ! ) this is not for you ! In path of audio signal there are only at max attenuation 6resitors and have the most transparent sound of a passive preamplifier .

Hi!
I,m building tube preamp FVP (Allen Wright) with 4 CCa Telefunken tubes .I have Alps motor poti with controler ,but will also remote sources. So I m intersted on your kit ,or only programed IC .I ,m only analog guy and have no skills in digital el.I have some questions 1: is posible to progam 30 -40 sec delay function ( tube warm up)to operate relay for B+ 2: analog to that function output mute -when B+ for tube is on output is on -gnd on output is enabled. 3: duo led aded for status -warm up -red ,operate -blue What is price for kit with that functions? Thanks voxac30

On LCD it will appear : " Warming up tube !" U anodic is off and mute is on , and after 60 seconds it will say " Ready !" in this time mute will stay active and only after U anodic is connected the mute relay will be released . If you do not want to use a LCD please tell and I will provide schematics for led only on front panel . An atmel AVR programmed with firmware will cost you without transport 5 euro . For kit : I have an kit with pcb etched on-house using toner transfer technique with 6 input to select , cost without transport : 50 euro (schematics and pcb posted here on first page 1. Volume controller / source selector for motor potentiometer ( like Alps blue velvet ) : )

You must also write 2 fusebits in atmega16 : - Jtag disable - Internal 8Mhz RC oscillator

Hi
Last weekend I soldered RC5 controled passive preamp with danzup source code from Yet another Volume controlers and source selections and with schematic from http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/attac...attiny2313.jpg I used 2xATtiny2313 and changed source code for both. One of ATtiny2313 uses for amplifire switching on/off and basscontrol. Other ATtiny2313 uses only for treble control. It turns on when amplifire is on. |

Congratulation ! And Pryanick : I like those MLT resistors , give so sweet sound ! I will post some time soft and schematics with one atmega16 with r/2r 6 relay for volume and 7 relay for bass and 7 relay for treble controller (exactly like your but extended for 7 relay each tone control : bass and treble for 0dB in the middle and -5dB, -10dB ,-15dB and +5dB , +10dB , +15dB on both ). It was made by me in year 2007 but never posted .... here the schematics : http://i31.tinypic.com/necfb5.jpg
