Default Phono to Aux Conversion

now i dnt know if this is in the ryt section but here it goes anyway.

I HAVE SEARCHED AND NOTHING COMES UP TO MY QUESTION

u c my bro gave me his old sony lbt-n200 hifi with speakers, now i blew the left channel about a month ago and repaired it but then i wanted to run it as my main hifi in my room since it has very big power. but there comes a problem . the hifi only has phono input and no aux.

If you post a schematic of the phono stage it may be helpful.

You need to find the point on the INPUT SELECTOR switch that selects the Phono input - i.e., where the phono preamp output connects to the Input Selector switch.
Cut that connection, and link those 2 points on the Input selector directly to the Phono RCA jacks. Cut any original connection the Phono RCA sockets had to the preamplifier circuitry.

This will bypass the phono-pre amp.

You can pull out the input and output capacitors in the phono stage,
(1 to 10 uf ) this will leave 4 connection points.
1. input from RCA
2. Preamp input
3. Preamp output
4. Main amp input
jump positions 1 and 4 with a axial 4.7/35 capacitor. polarity same as input capacitor

You can build an "inverse RIAA" filter which will attenuate and equalize line level signals to be compatible with phono inputs.
