I'm quoting from Devialet's website, errors included:
John Atkinson, Editor of Stereophile, worte a laudatory review on Devialet in the January 2013 issue of the magazine. Summing up “Devialet's D-Premier amplifier is the most extraordinary product I have reviewed for Stereophile. Superb sound quality, future-proof design, everything you need in one box - it is the epotome of what a hifh-end audio product should be. Wow!” John Atkinson ........... Risky statement if not backed-up by some evidence, so let's wait until...well,anyway tomorrow we're kind of busy

Well, people often find it hard to accept that a new technology might be the way forward - or even just an alternative way forward - especially if they know they do not have the skills needed to compete in that alternative "sport" (i.e. design proper Class D amps in this case).

This new technology 'might' be better, and it might NOT be better. It might just be different, with advantages. I am not sponsoring D, or Devialet or anything. We worked on something else.

Actually the Class D modules are the most expensive and exotic problem.

It uses iTunes after all. All that for the price of a BT and the RIAA is done all digitally (with our DSP
).
