It was not meant as a copy of Charles line amp, but as a circuit for discussion, based on a buffered OPS and VGT volume control Joshoua everything. (BH)(SA) Cheers |

It should have a separate thread, because it is too close to Charles' original design, and deviates from the direction that the Blowtorch took. However, it is a good approach, and I will be using a similar approach in 2 future designs, if they go forward. In my case, it is because the requirements necessitated an output buffer, and it could not be avoided. Still, the single load on the drive stage is compromised by going through the voltage sources. I recommend changing it.

May I ask who is deleting my posts and leaves Joshoua-G’s posts?
What’s going on? If this is the trend of the forum, I will not post anymore, but leave the forum to Joshua, Federmann, Iko, spambot and others. Cheers |

if this is not the right place, your schematic and subsequent discussion would be welcome in this thread i think: Ayre's EquiLock, what is it? btw, you are likely correct about the mirrors. mlloyd1 |

What is the point of your comment, Scott? That IC's are perfect? Or whatever. IF you can't learn from someone who knows more than you as to how to make good audio equipment, perhaps you should ignore them.

I simply said go out of the BT thread and carry on a separate conversation. You are welcome to join. And if you want to talk about precision instrumentation there are few here that can teach me anything.
