I'm trying to design and build an audio mixer. I will need many operational amplifiers. So you wonder, what is the best operational amplifier? NE5532 or the TL072? What is the difference between them? I know that there are more modern operational amplifiers, but are more difficult to get or more expensive (and a mixer have many of them!). I hope your opinions! Thanks!

hello.
both of the two types were used in mixers and so on........ have a look at the datasheets.the tl 07x are jfets with high input impedance ,probably used at the input stage and so ,where high impedances are needed........ the ne5532 are low noise that can drive loads down to 600 ohm, used mostly at the output (e. g. cd player out and so......) greetings........... |
