Paris MC PCB

Hugh,

Have you compared the Paris mc pcb with any other well established mc phono sections?

If so how did it compare in comaprison?

thanks

Not personally, Taffy.

But plenty of my customers have. Perhaps foolishly, I don't look over my shoulder at other products; it's almost a religion. For me, the design exercise is everything.

Correction: My Paris is simply a head amp, no EQ, just a gain block, around 25 times, for low output MC cartrides. Zin is variable, Zout is around 500R.

It was tested by Joachim Gerhard in this forum who found the noise figure to be around -142dB, best he'd seen. That's pretty good, I was pleased.

Cheers,

Hugh
