Default silver mica cap value s

ASellinger question if I may?

How critical are the cap values? I have a local ebayer selling 39 pf and 180 pf (or 300pf) silver mica. Can these ve subbed in?

PS - in watching how the jfet conversation evolves as well!

No, AS, should NOT be increased, VERY critical. 33pF is required, you could be go down to 22pF but no lower.

Sorry, values are very important with stability caps.

No worries, I'll just have to wait then annoyingly I just ordered a pile of clearance stuff from Rockby and they have 22pf mica on hand. Doh!
