This laptop doesn't like earthed mains noises it seems. I don't remember earthing reconfiguration talks for mini computers and streamers in this thread. They just worked without a glitch. Then again not all small toroids used these days have static shields and drain wires. You have a big R-Core one of the most potent makes.
Salas doesn't work well, time to time the volume level decrease a moment and inmediately turns normal level. I suspected of laptop power consumption when using DSD upsampling so tried lower DSD rates with same problem, so I listened original DSD files without DSD upsampling with the same issue, also the L-Adapter lose dynamic & sounds difused without focus.
Monitor voltage at the end of output cables. If it does not drop significantly during high current demand there is not something better you can do with the supply itself. Else, you can use thicker cables with tighter termination and maybe higher Vout adjustment within the max spec of the laptop's DC input allowed. Basically as much as its SMPS brick measured unloaded should be surely tolerable.

I built 3rd l-adapter for WiFi router 19v 1.7A.
Transformer is 120va 24v(It get 22v in my country for 100v wall tap)
Sound is amazing as always.
I appreciate for this build.
I like l-adapter so much.
Its easy build,simple,less parts,wider voltage choice and larger current,powerful and good bass sound comes.
I worry about a Q2 heatsink temperature get around 40-45℃.
I worry because it's on 24 hours.
Is it good way to mount on alumi chaiss bottom? It's 3mm but no fin.
I also built 24v ultrabib for acp+
