Hello soundhappy,
interesting restoring-project!
I like 2-way-monitor- loudspeakers. Didn't know the Genelec active monitor. The spl-curve looks really good. Especially for an 'older' design. -3dB-point
seems to be around 40-50Hz - pretty good for a mid-woofer of ca. 170mm diameter. No extreme bumps in the spl-curve. And an active loudspeker..I can see the 'killed' caps. Also some smd-resistors which seem to have become pretty hot. Also some traces on the pcb seem to have seen a lot of heat.... Those are chip-amplifiers. Are they still available?
Have success with this project. I am sure those genelecs can sound really nice! I think they are pretty 'neutral' as most monitor - loudspeakers used for checking / monitoring recordings.

Super PAC work
Yes is sorta older version technology hybrid chip amp STK module from 90´s. Not available new but today Genelec produce updated versions.
Tested one speaker who work perfectly now with young caps. This is audio tool a "sonic microscope" for multitrack recordings mixing adjustements etc.
Is be very little hot after 5 hours..and yes with deep low clean bass, neutral mids and highs, active filters with 3 micro switches (4 positions every one )
: treble tilt, bass tilt, bass roll-off + one trimmer 7 positions for input dB sensitivity

final PAC
Hello members,
it is done! PAC is alive. Pre Amp Controller. An input and volume switcher (pssive preamp).
I built it to use it with Waynes Line Stage, ACP+, B1 Korg NUTUBE and a few more. It is like a modular system.....
The pcbs are available as a kit. The Ap..e remote is easy to programme. The programme / sketch for the Ardu..o is available for download.
Good night!
