Just for clarification, the original PSU board (which I didn't find a schematic for, yet) is set up for PCB mounted transformers, which to my understanding are 230V primary only? Being in the US (110V... more like 126V) land, I had assumed I would have to come up with my own power supplies and had initially thought I would use something like golden reference GRLVs (Kevin Gilmore) on this, but the Salas shunts are very good. What exactly are the PSU needs? I was planning on running the UGS modules at +/-24V.

The Toshiba duals can be replaced with pairs of 2SK170/2SJ74 (BL grade), or the LSK170B/LSJ74B Linear devices. The singles are a bit thicker than the dual packages, and thicker than the Zetex bipolars used, so the heatsink assembly won't fit as well. Not sure if you would want to try to shim it on the Zetex BJTs or not? Pass didn't use heatsinks on whichever preamps of his used the UGS3 modules.

And yes, the Toshiba duals have been discontinued for at least 10 years, maybe longer, so they are a tough ask.

You are welcome. Just if I had more time I could even adjust some PCB like for example integrating the Salas shunt on them. Unfortunately I don't have this freedom.

Then to answer your question, yes you are completely correct regarding the main and I had the same issue here in Taiwan with 110V. So on my side too I made my own supply as well. The UGS modules are supplied with +/-24V.
