USB for Receiver Pi

Good morning Ian,

is there a USB2i2s input board you would recommend for the Receiver Pi? I do have a left over JLsounds board which is an isolated board and has got its own pair of clocks. I think I could use it but I would like to use a more simple one, which might be easier to connect and supply with power.

Cheers, Ernst

@druidaudio

TransportPi works with all boards that have MCLK output. So, should be no problem.

I'm highly recommended to use u.fl coaxial cable for better signal quality and lower jitter. If you don't have this connector, you can make a DIP to u.fl adapter cable by soldering DIP terminals to the other side of the supplied u.fl cable.

Regards,
Ian

Hi Ian,
Thanks for this, as I have 2 Kali boards, it makes TransportPi a much more attractive option.

Hello,

I'm new on this forum and I'm very interested in this soulution - TransportPi + FifoPi + RaspberryPi 4.

I have read that it is working with ropieee or volumio.

I would like to ask what HAT option should be chosen with TransportPi+FifoPi?

for example in ropiee for allo didigone i use digione Audio Output (HAT) but what for TransportPi?

Thank you

You only need to select the general I2S device in the software. That's all you need to do.
