AK4490 USB Dac with dsd support.

Frontpanel for preamp.

It is 220x70x4mm power coated black.

It will have a small OLED from adafruit model 938 (At least adafruit until i have found the the manufacturer of the Display).

The display is 29x15mm so that is enough to show basic information. Volume control is done by encoder. (24 clicks/turn)

I want it to be for both....

My biggest problem right now is that it would most likely need to be 330 wide rather than 220mm. My dream was half width but that is not possible as the preamp board is 130 wide, IEC inlet is 40mm and then i need to find space for bindingpost within 60mm.... that is not possible but with additional 110mm there is space for DAC or RIAA as well.

As you all know I am working on the tssa v1.8 replacement.

I do not know if I am better than lazycat. But I have made the schematic for the new amp. It is not current feedback, it does not have this extremely high bandwidth.
But I am confident that I can make a board based on the same design that fits on the same mounting dimensions as the first one... Using the same supply, and still a very stable amp.

It would require 2 days work for me to do that. But I need to know if anyone is interested!?!?..... And how many.

Fun you mention it. I have several times thought about suggesting 330 mm, also for my coming poweramp. My old Quad 34, FM4, 405-2 set is that with and beautiful to behold. To my eyes 330 mm just looks more "right" and easier to combine with other things in the rack. But that is just my view. BR, Per

Just an update:

  • UFL to I2S. (PCB production - 24 hours job) 45 pcs
  • Gain modules. (PCB production - 6 days job) 100 pcs
  • Preamp opamp based. (PCB production - 24 hours job) 25 pcs
  • TSSA V1.8 replacement. (PCB layout phase)
  • OPAMP based IV to SE board. (PCB production - 24 hours job) 20 pcs

Regarding TSSA V1.8 replacement. (PCB layout phase).

I am adding bridge rectifier and snap-in capacitors to the board. The PCB does not get much more expensive nor does the extra components, but people will save a powersupply board as only transformer needs to be added.

Sonny, more people asked me: "I do not see any A1Vx.x in Mirand shop only TSSA V1.8 CFA. Is it not available anymore? Do you have any info on it? "
I think you should do something ... It would be good for a separate thread for Mirand A1V1.2, the new TSSA V1.8. The world does not know more about them, they are top products.

Bassivus

I will make some changes to make it run from 61V on the MIRAND A1 V1.2

I will split my website in 3 sections. DACs, Amplifiers and Accessories (Like power supply)

I will put up some info by tomorrow here... It is a bit late now. So tomorrow there will be more info.

Thank you very much! I'm sure making order will be good for your future business also to make it clear for someone who was not following the whole thread!
As for the amps I'm not sure yet what choice would be good for me. I have Troels SBA10 speakers that go down to 2.85ohm in bass region...
