Ian asynchronous I2S and S/PDIF FIFO KIT group buy

Agua I've just soldered in 5v supercaps directly to the pads after the pop out cap boards. I have the Ldo's bypassed, so its basically 3.3v battery power into the caps.

Sounds good to me.

I'll try 3x external 5v into local TPS7A4700 regs and supercaps next week. I'm not expecting much difference though.

Great! I look forward to hearing if you detect a difference vs straight battery power. I hope you give it 3 days powered up before making your assessment.
To confirm, you are referring to FIFO?

He's hopefully enjoying a well needed vacation!

Ian used to log in diyaudio twice on 19 and 23 May, so Ian was not in vacation, He may just didn't want to respond. More than a month ago, he promised me to help test my board. The result was two months now and there was no news from him. In the process, Ian promised that he would test it for me on the weekend on 3rd May, but he didn’t do it. He changed it and said it would be as soon as possible. In other words, Ian still has no respond after one month as soon as possible. I sent a lot of message to Ian and Ian did not respond. I only think that I am stupid. My board is not completely useless. I just can't use spotify. The result is that I haven't used it for two months. The worst thing is that I have to start worrying now that I can't get my board back. Ian is like a black hole which if you go in, you can’t come out.

Look at Post #3499 May 9'th 2019.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'll take two weeks vacation. I'll be out of town meanwhile and may not be able to reply posts or emails in time.
I'm sorry if there is any delay to the service and support.
Thank you.
Ian
@ofswitched
Sorry for my absence. Just back home yesterday. Please be more patience. I'm here to help. I'll look into your board soon. Hopefully this weekend. No worry.
Hi guys!
Is it possible to use an ASUS Tinker board instead of the Raspberry pi? because Volumio 2 is also running.
Regards Norbert
If there is i2s output, then there should be no problem. I use UDA with BULK ASIO driver as shown below:
I don't know if this is the right thread but I've got a problem with the standard I/V stage. Last weekend I switched the opamps with OPA1612's. And during listening I noticed music getst distorted with high frequencies. So I started the frequency test on the isotek ultimate system setup disc and it turns out the distortion starts around 2000Hz. I did a visual check of the I/V stage but all parts seem to be ok. I also changed back to the default opamps and the distortion is still there at the same frequencies. Before I changed to the OPA1612's there were no problems whatsoever. Did I break something on the board during distraction of the default opamps? Hopefully someone can help me.
With regards, Bert.
