Just saw this on Parts Express: Dayton Audio PN395-8 15" NEO Series Pro Woofer with 4" Voice Coil 8 Ohm
Product Specifications
Thiele-Small Parameters
Looking to update my PAL12s that are loaded with Eminence LAB12Cs to something more compact in a 15, like an SS15 of CUBO15s. At that price I'm building 4

Nice efficiency but the Fs is kind of high. Looks like it won't want to do much below 30Hz. Small Vas though so could make for nice ultra high efficiency towers but would want some help for pipe organ otherwise you would have to tune an octave and a half below Fs. Might work though.
I should have mentioned these are for PA use not HT, so I'm not trying to reproduce anything < 30 Hz anyway.Nice efficiency but the Fs is kind of high. Looks like it won't want to do much below 30Hz.
Would these work well in a TL with a fundamental well below Fs?
The issue here is the Xmax. It's fairly low for a low Fb TL design. A 40 Hz Fb is probably as low as I'd go with that driver.
It does look nice for the price though .
I'm no good with t-line (GM and others are good) but would think a tapped pipe would make it usable to 30Hz or below (?)
(if not played real loud)
putting it in a 250 liter airspace. one - fold negatively tapered pipe in a corner shows
(but 160 liters tuned to ~24Hz - Not Shown - looks like a better tradeoff)
maybe Brian would suggest a 30Hz OD-TL if the excursion is good enough for you

I'm considering an SS15, or a modtfied one, or maybe the 15" version of Art's Keystone sub.
The new 15" I'm excited about is the Radian 2216. OMG:
8 ohms
1400w RMS:
Sensitivity: 101 dB ! - unless they’re lying.
Power Compression: No idea.
Fs 36.8 Hz
Freq: 28Hz - 2K
BL 34.229
Qms 2.72
Qts .219
Vas 4.51 ft^3
Xmax 21.3 !
14 lbs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dennis @ Radian says it’s a 15” cone with an 18” motor.
--------------
Frequency response is insanely flat (if they aren’t lying) to almost 30 Hz, and only 5 dB down at 20 Hz..
Maybe a 1 dB peak from 45 - 60 Hz.
- this graph was made with a 4.6 cu. ft. Vented Cabinet Tuned To 36Hz.
One possible downside is the price: $750. Still .......

Brian, is that for a standard-sized Tham15? Those little tiny boxes like Martinnson made?
Nah, same layout, different size.

Hmm, that would also be nice driver for Cubo15 extended (I have one, using RCF driver now).
This is exactly the cabinet I'm considering 4 of these for, or the jbell ss15, or the tham 15, in that order. I think their weight specs may be off, I'm assuming an aluminum cast frame neo 15" to come in well under 20lbs
- can see why you're excited - make a light weight - well braced Jim Bell SS15
Exactly, this driver fills a huge void! I'm doing either 2 ss15s or 2 cubo15 extendeds, then maybe 2 more if they measure well and sound good.
Thank you for the Sims!
Brian,
I used your Hornresp parameters and my sim did not come out looking like yours. Are you you using par, con, or exp?
Here's the parameters I used, exported from the workbook.
