I don't see anything about the driver (BE tweet or 9.5" satori) being on sale, this was posted 3 days ago (same day I got an email from compacbel) by user Sam:

Just received an email from www.compacbel.be, they will have the Sb Acoustics WO24P-8 soon available for pre-order at 152 EUR each. Delivery expected late November or earlier. I think I will order four of these...

OK, so no one actually has them yet. The only thing I can see different is that the specs are no longer "preliminary" and Solen is listing them for around $380 USD / $473 loonies.

If the performance is anywhere near accurate it may really put a dent in the $500+ Be tweets.

I dont understand how a US product can be cheaper than a made-in-asia one. Wouldnt happen in OZ

some of tweeters from SB did have this same phenomenon*, special taste of SB?

It says something about the flat response when you guys think that tiny wobble at 15khz is a peak!

The raison d'etre for Be tweeters is missing: the waterfall plots.

That and lack of compression is where justifications for high priced tweeters live.

But yes, it's a good looking frequency response, along the lines of the best Vifa tweeters. Which I like a lot.

For most part, upmarket tweeters never looks better than midmarket tweeters, performance wise, but this beryllium sb tweeter looks better than anything else for sure! Now i hope someone can test this tweeter and show some graphs

Too bad, Be or not Be, directivity is as bad as non Be similar Vifa/Seas/Scanspeak designs... Enjoy the narrow sweet spot, not really my cup of tea...


Sadly enough Morel / Dynaudio stuff is getting nonobtainum, lost in translation stuff to discerning diy users...
