G3H update v1.1.2
G3H have very good reputation now, we find update point in the last time, update to v1.1.2 now.
Problems:
1) transformer have very small chirp noise when standby
Reason:
1)SMPS unit run in burst mode to save energy when standby, burst frequency below 20Khz, so transformer vibration can heard,it is transformer core vibration noise, not signal noise.
Solution:
1) Ferrite core firm bonding at the interface, and use resin encapsulation.
Result:
1)After strong processing, transformer chirp noise decrease to very low level, even put ear to the transformer, only hear very small chirp noise.

Any update on TPA3255 version? Is the resin just for testing purposes or will it be like this in the final product?
TPA3255 board testing now, we will sell this module when we find perfect way to batch order this chip, we only have some sample now.
I see. How is the performance as compared to TPA3251?
The other question was regarding the resin on the transformer of G3H. Is the resin looks like your previous photo in the final product?

I have an EVM with TPA 3255 and I tested it with several speakers from JBL, Canton and T&A. In every case, the sound quality from my perspective is excellent. Compared with TPA3251 perhaps a little bit more natural (my listening experience with my speakers). My TPA3251 module has 7µH output inductors compared to the EVM TPA3255 with 10µH.
I have just recieved one of these amplifiers. I have very very loud pitch noise. It does go down after some use. I have asked for a new module via aliexpress store, but get the answer that the module is fine and meets the specifications, and I'm told to just send it back.
I will rather keep the amplifier (I have already paid customs handling fee). Can I make your modification and how?
But, even after a while of playing, some noise is still coming from the PSU. I still consider it to be a fault, since I don't have that noise in any other amplifier I own with SMPS PSU (I have a lot)
I have the first generation of G3H and the transformer shows some noise. I tried it with plastic spray to bring him silent but with only limited success. I'm now in China and bought via Taobao a second module, hopefully second generation and am curious how it will behave when I will test it next week at home again.
I just bought my amp (finished version), and of course thought it would be the version without noise. They do not tell on the aliexpress store, that this noise is present.
I have to turn off the amp if it's not in use. They will only return the price of the amp, so it's way too expensive to send it back to china. I will try to kill the noise myself.
Maybe Sinewave should sell amplifiermodules only - I mean without noisy PSU's.

Hello, Kjeldsen, you can return the problems amp to us, and we will replace one new for you , of course you have to bear the shipping cost , you know it is Aliexpress policy .
Our produce line have processed the ferrite core to decrease the burst noise when amp standby, it is very small noise when standby, if you order completed amp, it should not hear the noise.
We have applied new 1KW SMPS in new G6H module, it is SMPS and TPA3255 amp all in one board, no noise in this module.
No matter how about the problems you found , we appreciate you efforts on our new products.

We find lots of suggestions after our new module on market, even we have paied more attention when develop this new module, it is small chance to make it perfect first time, but our customers need perfect products as their ideas, so we have to pay more care and get more suggestions first.
