"I do it at night"

Early 70's TV ad for Australian telephone users to encourage them to dial long distance at night for reduced rates. Subscriber Trunk Dialling was commonly known as STD. Then later the acronym became associated with Sexually Transmitted Diseases. The "I do it at night" ad fell by the wayside...

This company was established 1985 and is still going under the same slogan.

Slamsug AS has the slogan "Vi suger alt!"
Translation (both the company name and the slogan):
Sedimentsuck corp. (that would be Public limited company in the UK) "We'll suck anything!" ("alt" can also translate to "everything")
Dong energy = Dansk Olie og NaturGas = Danish Oil and Natural Gas.
Got a problem with that? I don´t complain that the australian lotto service "slikpik" translated to danish is "eat dick".
This West Aus instant/random Lotto ticket selection was advertised on bill boards and buses etc.
My Danish GF had a laugh. lol.

Dan.

"I'M SORRY, I DROPPED YOUR NAIM';

[and, in my case, then kicked it out ! Went DC, took out all the drivers in my speakers. But Naim rebuilt the amp to latest spec and arranged for new drivers to be sent....so - other than inconvenience they were very very good, considering that it was a 5 year old 140/12 set-up. Only problem was that after 2 hours listening I got a bad headache. No other amp has done that for me, but of course the problem may well have been a mismatch with the rest of the system.]

Naim amplifiers are critically load dependant.
Perhaps your rig was oscillating at HF/RF.
