From bad comes a good?

A dog that we look after once or twice a year when the owner goes away might have found a new home. The owner is in ill health and cannot look after the little guy anymore. His name is Bingo.

I'm not big on small dogs but this one is nothing like other little dogs. He is so relaxed, friendly and extremely patient. Not to mention good for my belly. No, not going to eat him, I was thinking the 3 walks a day might turn me back into the slim, trim, lean, mean fighting machine I used to be.

Thanks to all.
Usually it's party, party but I am going to stay in tonight as 1. It's Thursday and we get up long before the sun does and 2. The sakellogg test proved unsuccessful. Doc says for guys my age, don't be surprised if it gives you 3 weeks of PITA or should I say PIT Throat.

I am hoping by Christmas this goes away, I am not the same jolly old Cal and I don't like it. Not one bit.

Anyways, back to the regularly scheduled program

Now that you are older than me you should ask Brian about how old geezers get over those stubborn bugs like you have..... :geezer:

Now it's time to go and take a little nap in the big chair with da dachshunds!!!

Between you and me the daxies are looking well: I'd like to get a few decent evenings just sitting comfortably. Most are spent finishing the proofing of a 550 page, picture heavy book on fishing.
