F6 heatsinks

Getting proper heat sinks for the F6 is a bit of a chore here in the north... How big should they be, compared to the F4 for an example? The F4 has 6 Jfets per side, the F6 two. Would the F6 do with less heet sink area? (I happen to have a F4 on loan right now so that's why the referece.)

Power supply question

Need some explaining I'm afraid...

In the power supply schematic, on the primary there is a thermistor(?) sign, but no value mentioned. Does the thermistor really exist and if so is it mandotory? And if it's manditory, or at least recomendable, does that mean that the primery shoud be splitable?

I ordered the 2 heatsinks from Conrad heatsink but I was in no hurry so I went with shipping by boat so it took 2-3 month but was cheaper than shipping by plane.

Another question about that power supply... The Schematic of the power supply is clear now, but on the attached pic you can see some other parts too that aren't in the schematics. What is that 'tower' thing in the middle of the caps? What's it's function and? And also what are those three small caps on the board. Would they make the power supply better if included?

tower is temp switch

if temp in case is higher than wanted , it goes off

3 small caps - probably on mains etc.

don't waste time thinking of them - all you need is on published PS schm
