Post your Solid State pics here

You don't wanna know which kind of amps out there were also left behind by VSSA. :D
BTW the amp you mentioned is classic-standard VFA, no chance to compete with even basic CFA.

Wow, it must be a good one, because I love the sound of my M400 from hdamp.com. Maybe my next project will be a VSSA amp, I have the schematic already. There are many diy amps and most of them are very good :D
I am very happy with my M400 so that is why I do not feel the need to build more diy amps, but it is too bad that when you start building amps...you can not stop it!!! This thing is very addicted and you want to build them all :(

Federmann power filter for Hi-Fi amplifiers

I guess what I was saying is though it may be 1000W how does it sound? So definitely the guts but if it is sonically a poor performer there is no glory. I have two Aussie amps 600W modules at home yet to be be built into an amp. Definitely powerful but how will it sound?

No worry, mate. I have built several amps using Aussie Amplifiers . com parts and amp modules. Latest: two of Anthony's 400 watt modules.

Best advise: build it the way he suggests = great sound and runs cool as a cucumber.
