That made me smile. Our boxer died last year after 13 years. Our first child. Greeted me everyday like I had been gone for months.

I've rescued a lot of doggy's and some of them crossed the Rainbow Bridge after only a short while. For me the best way to get past that is to go out and find another doggy that need's a home and then give them one. There are a lot of doggy's (and kitty's too) that would love to have a happy home.
For the doggy's yes....
OTOH I wuz trained and experienced in armed security and counter terrorism and can take you out with one thumb....
Yeah - most people with half a brain do that....
OTOH - if you still have half a brain left then you are toooooo smart to be hanging around the Dummy's table at the Pub....
