Good news! Just wondering if these cap values produce a flat response with the design's original R values, or do these have to be tweaked as well?

The original response, wasn't flat AT ALL but rather had a bump on the bass response.
This means that value have to be slightly adjusted.
If you guys check out some of my old post on the paradise I showed there the correct RIAA network.
Feel free to use it, it practically provide accuracy of +/-0.08dB across band!

Stefanoo,
I would have liked to have purchased a set of these but the timing was not right. I slipped in on the third offering of the paradise boards and have not evan have been asked for payment yet so I did not want to commit to these. As a second choice what would you have recommend for these positions?

Thanks
Bill

... me to .... good V-caps news.
I am near the Paradise door ....
Stefanoo .. thanks (for the keys).

No...thank YOU guys for pulling through with this and have helped me to make this possible!
It's now time for everybody to enjoy these amazing capacitors!!

They are truly the best of the best....not even the premium Aura Teflon can minimally cope with the quality of these.

Enjoy!

Sorry I don't think I understand your question.
Try to guess, do you mean where is the location of these caps on the circuit?

They Willi be used for the RIAA section.

Let me know if this answer your question.

Any type of film capacitor will do. If you have a choice I'd prefer film foil instead of metallised foil. KP or KS. The sound of the preamp will certainly be more influenced by the matching than the type of caps (within some limits). In the assemply guide WIMA FKP are mentioned and these are perfectly fine.

Wonderful!
I hope you guys will receive them soon.
I know a lot of people here are not from the states, so they will probably have to be patience a little bit.
However what I recommend is to try them right away to get the kick out of it and then with inverse RIAA let them cook on the phono for 3-4 days and then check the progresses and then repeat the step one more time and final evaluation.

I am very interested in knowing the impression of everybody here!

Can you show how you have hooked them up?

Could not afford these, but have been watching the thread with interest. It's guys like Stefanoo and sites like this... Where else can something as great as this happen. Way to go, nice job Stefano!!

Hank you very much for the appreciation.
It was a lot of work to coordinate and negotiate and get track of all the necessary users to build his group buy up.

Thanks again.

To break them in?
You will have to install them inside your unit and use an inverse Riaa at the input and connect a radio or whatever you want to connect and play music.
The green lead goes to the lowest impedance point i.e. ground.

Hope this helps.

Sorry i meant how did you hook them up in the final working paradise? Are you just including them in the on-board riaa or using an external riaa daughter board?

Btw for breaking them in it seems elaborate to build inverse riaa etc. Why not just hook up a music source and play (either with volume of the preamp all the way down or accept it sounds a bit odd)
